HANDICRAFT ROUTE
A journey full of color, tradition, and creativity. We’ll start with a scenic drive along the Pan-American Highway, offering panoramic views of Lake Ilopango.

Our first stop is San Sebastián, known for its colorful handwoven textiles created on traditional wooden looms—tools that were once the height of industrial innovation 200 years ago.

Next, we head to Ilobasco, the legendary «city of clay», world-famous for its miniature ceramic figures and unique “sorpresas”, tiny handmade figurines with hidden scenes inside. This art form is a cultural hallmark of El Salvador, and a valuable export to Europe and beyond.

We end the day with a brief stop in Suchitoto, a town full of colonial charm and artistic spirit. Return to your hotel.
