ROUTE OF PEACE
A moving and historical journey through the heart of El Salvador’s recent past. We depart early toward the eastern region to visit the town of Perquín, founded by Lenca tribes. In their language, Perquín means «Path of Embers».

Our first stop is the Museum of the Revolution, where you’ll learn about the origins and impact of the Salvadoran Civil War, told from the guerrilla perspective. We’ll also hike to the Perquín Hill, offering spectacular views of the Nahuaterique area.

We continue to the town of El Mozote, the site of a tragic massacre, where we will visit its memorial and monument, a place of remembrance and reflection. Return to San Salvador.
